Customer Question
I purchased a used...

I purchased a used 1990 Ford Bronco II and noticed several of the vacuum lines (? approx. 1/8" hard lines ?) appear missing. The owner had a another used 2.9 L engine installed. I'm looking for photos/sketches of all the vacuum line routings to replace the missing lines and get the engine through emissions testing.

Mechanic's Assistant: Okay, I'll connect you to the mechanic to go over that information regarding your Ford Bronco II. Before I do, is there anything else you want him to know?

I work better off of photos or good sketches of the actual routings, as I've noticed from checking out the junkyards not all components look alike between similar engines, and I'm not familiar with what the actual component would look like from a block diagram

Hi My name is Jay

Here is the vacuum diagram from the manual showing all the components hooked to the vacuum system for the engine. Let me know if you have questions on the components shown in drawing?

Thanks, ***** ***** this diagram. The physical appearance of the engine and components under the hood appears more complicated than this sketch and/or there are different systems involved and I'm confusing them. The broken, missing and/or cut lines appear to be semi-rigid 1/8" black tubing into rubber ends for connections.
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
I'm at work and not with the vehicle right now, that's why I was hoping to find photos of the connection routings on an actual engine.
Ford Mechanic: Jaybird61, ASE Certified Master Technician replied 7 months ago

I do not have physical pictures of the vacuum hoses and routing other than the diagram i gave you. I will opt out to see if maybe another expert has pictures other than what is on the web for all to see. Please do not respond until another expert contacts you with the information you need. Thanks.
