Chris,

Do you have a 12-volt test light or a voltmeter so we can check a few things?

Ask Your Own Ford Question

but I'm not with the truck at the moment
Ford Mechanic: Ron, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

Okay, when you there let me know and we can get this figured out. When you get home the first thing I need you to do is to check the ALT (30 AMP) located in the under hood fuse panel as well as the Fuse 15 (7.5 AMP) located in the interior fuse panel to be sure both are in place and have power in and out of them. Let me know the results and we can work from there. I'm here all day.

All of the fuses check out

Hey Ron are you around?
Ford Mechanic: Ron, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

Okay, what I need you to do now is take your 12-volt test light and or a voltmeter and with the engine running back probe the yellow wire as well as the black /orange wire and the smaller Green.red wire and let me know what the voltage reading is on all three.

Ask Your Own Ford Question
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
Green wire 14 volts
O volts everywhere else
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
I checked that earlier. I'm on my way into work now
Ford Mechanic: Ron, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

Okay have a look at the enclosed wiring diagram and if both are dead the check the mega fuse located on the underhood fuse panel. All three wires need battery voltage and I suspect your mega fuse may be blown.
