Hello, what have you done to attempt to repair this code so far? Anything? How many miles are on the truck?

Ford Mechanic: HDGENE, Ford Senior Master/Diesel/Trans replied 4 months ago

Ok, what does the accelerator pedal sensor read? This is what sends the input to the throttle body to actuate the throttle. The truck only idles?

it only idles
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
give me a few i have reinstall the tps and connect the tool.
Ford Mechanic: HDGENE, Ford Senior Master/Diesel/Trans replied 4 months ago

Yes, verify if the throttle pedal sensor at the gas pedal shows movement. If not, this is why the throttle doesnt respond. You have replaced everything else. Only other issue would be an open circuit/wiring fault.

Ok so the pcm is seeing the throttle pedal change states. You said you changed the throttle motor on the throttle body, with a ford part? Did you test the wiring from the pcm to the throttle body?

Ask Your Own Ford Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
the wiring has full continuity
Ford Mechanic: HDGENE, Ford Senior Master/Diesel/Trans replied 4 months ago

Did you load test the wiring, if the throttle pedal sensoris working and everything else is changed, the wiring is the only thing left, did you use a new throttle body from the dealer?

Ask Your Own Ford Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
no aftermarket throttle motor
dorman
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
what are the recommended voltages for these sensors
Ford Mechanic: HDGENE, Ford Senior Master/Diesel/Trans replied 4 months ago

If the pcm is new and programmed properly, the wiring is good, the throttle pedal sensor is good, only thing left would be the motor itself. If you followed the pinpoint test I would consider a ford throttle body assembly.
