Hi, My name is Jay

Have you replaced the turn signal multifunction switch yet?

Customer reply replied 3 months ago
i have one on order, and waiting for it to arrive .

The turn signal switch is most common cause of your problem. I would pay special attention to all the bulbs to make sure the filaments inside bulbs are not shorted to gether inside bulbs.

Ask Your Own Ford Question

Also make sure to check the connector to turn signal switch that it is not melted.

i was thinking that 'might' be it,as most of the grounds are thru it ,or so it seems looking @the diagram.

The switch is what separates the turn and brake lights and the short can cause the cruise control problem also.

Ask Your Own Ford Question

If you have any trailer wire connector in back make sure it is not shorted too.
