Let engine idle and see what the pressure is and then see what it does when you try and accelerate the engine?

Ask Your Own Ford Question
Ford Mechanic: Jaybird61, ASE Certified Master Technician replied 10 months ago

If pressure stays above 35 when you accelerate then it is not caused by fuel pressure. Do you have a mass air sensor or is the engine have a MAP sensor?
