Truck parked in drive...

Truck parked in drive overnight. Had been running fine. Next morning when leaving the house the truck would not start. Horn works, blower fan comes on. Ignition switch does not make any noise when activated. Silence. Has nearly new battery but I charged it any way no change. Cables clean but I recleaned them....no change.

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you changed a battery before?

Was done at Walmart and has been in the truck for four or five months with no problem

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your Ford?

2004 f150 XL super crew 4x4 with 71,000 miles.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your F150 yourself? What have you tried so far?

Other than charging and checking and cleaning cables nothing. I live on 11 acres 15 miles from nearest mechanic.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Have changed brake light module a year ago as truck would hang up in park. But this time will not start.

If I can get an answer to my question without a monthly membership then I mill pay a one time fee of 23.00. If anything more then cancel and refund all but my Five dollars.
