I have a 2004 f150 supercab with a 5.6 liter engine. sometimes at speeds of 40 to 60 mph when I accerlate slighty it jumps like it is missing or maybe it is trying to down shift overdrive. when I quit accerlating it quits. could this be something electronic?

Mechanic's Assistant: How old is the transmission? Have you noticed any leaking?

No leaks transmission is 2004

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your F150 yourself? What have you tried so far?

If I can

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
