HI,

Looking at the photo you posted in the other question, I believe you replaced the wrong one. Does the one you replaced have 4 or 5 wires to it

It has five wires going to it
Ford Mechanic: Eric, Automotive Repair Shop Manager replied 10 months ago

Hi,

Ok, that is the correct one then.

Ok, on the brown with green striped wire and the blue with orange striped wire, check for power while adjusting the temperature

How do I get to it with that plastic part covering it?
Ford Mechanic: Eric, Automotive Repair Shop Manager replied 10 months ago

HI,

Ok, directions are attached

Ask Your Own Ford Question
Ford Mechanic: Eric, Automotive Repair Shop Manager replied 10 months ago

Should not have to remove it. The screws for the actuator should be accessible just below that piece. you just have to push some of the wiring aside.

but to remove it, you will need a 1/4" ratchet and socket to go from the bottom and inside of the plastic piece to remove the screw just above your finger

Customer reply replied 10 months ago
I can only get to one screw....that plastic piece has to come off
