I'm 70 yr old x autobody man the car ran ok but theft alarm went off then after shutting off engine groan little when tried to start. next am same thing. bought new battery connected it and clicking ?groan sound. a buddy of mine started crossing solenoid and smoke came up from back of motor bout 30 seconds. I bought another solenoid put it on cleaned terminals and cleaned wires on terminal connected battery and nothing no juice to anything. checked power box fuses and seemed ok getting ready crawl under if I have room check wires on statrter, I also cleaned ground wire from battery to metal rad support
