2007 Ford Ranger 2.3 liter 4 cylinder, coolant in oil, water…

Hi, 2007 Ford Ranger 2.3...
Hi, 2007 Ford Ranger 2.3 liter 4 cylinder, coolant in oil, water is leaking out of the throttle body intake, it is plastic intake. I believe coolant is entering engine because of cracked intake internally. It appears their is a coolant line running through the intake possibly to heat or cool the fuel entering the combustion chamber. Please advise before I replace Intake. I get raw coolant when using a small amount of compressed air at the TB plate, almost pours out. Thank for your answers. Joe

HI,

There is a coolant passage thru the intake manifold and this plastic manifold is somewhat notorious for cracking and leaking coolant either internally or externally depending upon location of crack. You are on the right track to replace the intake manifold to resolve this
