My battery indicator comes on about 5 seconds after start

my battery indicator comes on about 5 seconds after start up, battery is brand new [ changed it cause old one was 5 years old] and my tester reads that charging at 14.5 volts, you think sensor problem?

there is what appears to me a inductive sender on the ground cable right at the battery ( ground cable goes through it) is that the sender?

that should be a volt indicator, that vehicle has harness chafing issues, I would trace the wires from the alternator and look for signs of rubbing
