Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose). I'm here to help 365 days a year, but not every hour of the day. I try to prevent delays as much as possible. Please understand I am not there and can only advise based on what you tell me. Let's get started.

Is the ticking noise from the front cover or from a valve cover?

Is it there with the engine cold and hot?

Does it occur at all rpms and speed up as the engine does?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
more when hot , just notice it when idle

I am not there to hear it, I need you to do that. There are concerns that can occur in many places to create a tick noise.
