My daughter has a 2014 Edge - It won't start - AAA came out and tried to jump start it-nothing- door locks work
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: yes
JA: What is the model of your '14 Ford?
Customer: everything comes on but cant turn key to start engine EDGE

Good morning,

What you describe sounds like a PATS key issue. That that means is the vehicle's computer has lost communication with the key and won't allow the engine to crank.

The issue could be in the key- it's not sending out a signal, the device in the dash that receives the signal from the key, or the vehicle just lost programming for a second.

Has the vehicle been sitting for a little while?

Does she have a spare key that she could try?
