The ABS module sends the vehicle speed signal to the PCM and the Instrument cluster. You should check the ABS system for trouble codes. There are no speed sensors on the transmission for the speedometer.

Scan it abs wheel speed sensors read correct speed but speedometer way fast why
Expert:  A. Penland replied 5 months ago.

The problem may be the instrument cluster itself. With the scan tool you are using for the ABS, can you read anything from the instrument cluster? If the wheel speed sensors are reading the proper speed, the instrument cluster may be reading it properly from the ABS module and not showing it properly on the speedometer.
