Customer Question

I have a 1997 Ford E150 van with the 5.4L V-8. I removed the intake manifold so I can install a new L-shaped rigid heater tube which is located near the #4 spark plug, in the manifold. In spite of my tapping on the tube's flange, it's certainly not sliding in the manifold hole. Any suggestions? I thought about applying heat, but haven't yet.
