No heat on my 2005 Ford Ranger. Have blower fan ok, have AC

Customer Question

No heat on my 2005 Ford Ranger. Have blower fan ok, have AC cool ok, ac clutch ok, no apparent vacuum on small tube leading to the top of the water control valve. At the two hoses that lead into the heater. Have coolant level toped off. And control knob set on high heat....still no vacuum to open valve.
JA: Has the clutch been slipping? Are you having any trouble shifting?
Customer: no trouble with clutch or is this connected to the AC system
JA: Are you fixing your Ranger yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just did basic trouble shoot to locate possible easy problem like a loose vacuum tube or broken water control valve. I really don't want to go under dash.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no just curios how the small vacuum tube is run....

I am going to try and find a figure for you for the vacuum routing. What size motor do you have?
