Do you have a helper that can turn the ignition switch for you?

No

Ok, Connect your test light to a good ground, unplug the trigger wire from the solenoid and pit the tip of your test light into the side of the plug so the tip is stuck between the connector and the rubber cover so the tip of the test light will stay in the plug making good connection with the connector. Then turn the ignition switch to start and see if the test light lights up please.
