Interior fan stops - no juice and the air bag light comes

Customer Question

Interior fan stops - no juice and the air bag light comes on. So far have replaced the rheostat, blower motor and AC/Fan relay. Each time after a replacement the fan works - then within a week stops again.
JA: Is anything interfering with the seatbelt latch?
Customer: Not that I can see - you mean internally to the buckle point?
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 2003 Ford Ranger
JA: Are you fixing your Ranger yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Replaced the blower motor - no help. Had a local shop replace the rheostat (sp?) and that fixed it for a week. Then they found a broken wire - fixed it for a week, finally replaced the ACfan relay - fixed it for a week. Dead again now.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose), my normal schedule online is around lunch and after dinner till early morning.

We are only permitted to help diagnose one issue per question. Do you want my help with the air bag or the blower?

May I ask why you do not want help/answer for the fee you paid?
