My 2004 Ford Explorer will not start. after everything was

my 2004 Ford Explorer will not start. after everything was ruled out was told it was the key not communicating with the computer. just had a locksmith over and he said it was the computer not the key. could it be the antithrft? when key is in the on position the redlight on the dash flases fast
JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: all the fuses were checked and the started was bench tested. I don't don't think the dashboard bulbs
JA: Are you fixing your Explorer yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, fuses were checked, started was bench tested and I had a locksmith make the key. he said it was the computer
