Customer Question

p0354. Coil has been tested and is firing: a spark plug was attached to the cam cover with the coil and was observed firing, but the P0354 code is present and the cylinder is missing, presumably because the PCM has disabled the injector because of the P0354 code. SIA Electronics says the PCM/ECM is good.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it?
Customer: What is not clear about P0354?
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 2007
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: 2007 Fusion, 3.0 engine. Sent the ECM to be repaired and replaced/substituted the coil.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: ECM was sent back to SIA Electronics who say there is nothing wrong with it.

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.

Do you have a test light or multimeter to do some testing"?

Start by load testing the wiring at the coil by hooking up a headlight bulb or something to the two wires then use your meter and check the voltage across the two wires to make sure they maintain about battery voltage with a load on them.
