My 2006 Ford Hybrid won't start, pretty sure it's the 12v

Customer Question

Hi, my 2006 Ford Hybrid won't start, pretty sure it's the 12v battery. Wanted to make sure that replacing it doesn't require any special procedure
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: I haven't done that yet.
JA: What year is your Special?
Customer: 2006
JA: Are you fixing your Special yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I haven't tried much, yet. I tried the manual jumpstart button in the drivers side foot panel to see if it was the 12v or 330v battery The light slowly flashed, so based on the manual, it's the 12v battery
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Don't think so...
