I have a 1978 ford bronco with a 460ci engine I need to replace the fuel pump Can I do this from the engine Bay
JA: Have you ever replaced the fuel pump, or is this the original?
Customer: this cam with the truck it was rebuilt and bored .060
JA: Are you fixing your Bronco yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am attempting to repair myself, My engine would not turn over, I primed the engine it turned over but no fuel got to the block. Brand new fuel filter, rebuild carb, just got back from a quality repair facility
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Are you sure you have a 460 engine and not a 400M engine. Ford did not put the 460 in the Bronco.

Okay the fuel pump can be changed from the engine bay but its usually easier if you get down under the truck to loosen the line and remove the bolts. See the steps in the link below to remove and replace it.
