Hi Im David, It is essential to carry out a full drain immediately. Once the contaminated fuel has been removed and the tank filled with the correct diesel there should be no damage to the engine. Hopefully no damage has already been done. you will find out once the full drain and refill is completed.

Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose), my normal schedule online is around lunch and after dinner till early morning.

Options at this point are to drain the fuel and replace the filters and refill with diesel or add a bottle of Mercon 5 trans oil to the fuel and run that tank almost empty.

What now

  1. You have asked a question.
  2. You have paid a deposit and received an info request and or answer(s).
