Replaced motor in My 2001 F250 S D Lariat extended cab now radio won't power on does not lite up at all ???
JA: Have you checked the fuse?
Customer: All that are in are good, but don't have a book not sure if any are missing do you know the position for this fuse or the color of the power wire ?
JA: What is the make/model of your car?
Customer: 2001 F250 SD Ex Lariat .
JA: Are you fixing your F250 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes by myself replaced motor and transmission everything inside and outside work but no radio.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Just fuse pole position and power wire color code. Thank you.

Hello, the radio is the only item not working correct?

The fuses you want inside the vehicle are 8,18. Both of these fuses should be 5amp fuses. Under the hood fuse 29 should be a 20amp fuse and have power at all times. Fuse 8 has power when the radio should be on with the key on or in accessory. If all of these are ok and have power please let me know and we can continue.
