ihave a 1999 ford ranger 4x4 when i am driving down the road i get a roaring noise from my front end; when i am going around a right handed curve the noise stopes when i go straight again the noise comes back

this sounds like you have a worn wheel bearing on the LHS

when you turn a right hand corner the truck will lean over onto the LH corner and this extra load takes up the slack and shuts the bearing up

if you jack the truck up so the wheel is off the ground and shake it top to bottom to see if you can feel any slack as this too is another sign of a worn wheel bearing
