Hello, my name is***** of the time you will get lucky and they will retract when spinning them. In other cases if the piston is out far enough the piston will not catch on the threads. You need to use the correct tool that pushes in on the piston while spinning it. Most auto parts stores loan these out. You can also press it on with a c-clamp and grab the outside of the piston with a pair of channel locks and turn it and it should retract. Let me know if it still does not work.
