Hi Im David, thanks for visiting the site. has any maintenance been performed on the vehicle prior to this happening?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
intake replaced
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
when this happens you can restart the motor three times after the third time you can continue driving until it happens again .then when happens again repeat

sorry , i should have read the "already tried" section. did you bleed the system of all air after the replacements? if so you should do a pressure test on the coolant system to make sure you arent losing any internally. also i would recommend replacing the radiator cap as it may be failing to hold the correct 16psi in the system

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
has been pressure tested and new reservoir and reservoir cap.

ok. do both radiator hoses get hot?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
both hoses are hot but remember the motor is not hot just the gage reading hot that causes the problem

" loosening no water"

Expert:  david craig replied 10 months ago.

my bad, you meant losing no water. lol... duh

Expert:  david craig replied 10 months ago.

do a flow check to the radiator.

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
No flow check needed car is not hot only shows hot this fools computer then shuts down 4 cylinders in safe mode to try to cool a engine that is not hot
Expert:  david craig replied 10 months ago.

seems to me you need to check the wiring between the cylinder head temp sensor and the computer.
