How do I fix a p1260 code
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it?
Customer: Trying to reset it now. Code is p1260
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 06 explorer
JA: Are you fixing your Explorer yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Having trouble getting it to start. 06 ford explorer
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I think it's the anti theft device. Just tried using my other key. None of the dash lights come on when I turn the key and the engine won't turn over. Already checked the battery and it's fine

Tried using the other key. Checked the battery. Checked the connection. And the grounding. It was working fine. I pulled over to sleep. Left her on and had the heat on. Heard a beeping sound. Turned the car off. And now she won't start
