JA: What is the model of your '98 Ford?
Customer: A full size van with a 5.4
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Try to change the O2 Sensor
JA: Have you located all of the vehicle's oxygen sensors? Are the wires leading to and from each intact and in good shape?
Customer: I looks to me i have 2 sensor locations
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hi! Welcome to JustAnswer. Thanks for coming! I'm Ron Z and I'll be helping you with your question today.

On the 5.4L engine setup, there are 3 oxygen sensors. One sensor mounted to the exhaust just below the exhaust manifolds, and one mounted behind the converter. Do you happen to have a p-code for an oxygen sensor? If so, I can better tell you which one you're looking for.
