Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.

Unfortunately if resetting the system didnt work you are going to need to get your hands on a decent scan tool that is factory specific to get the data needed to figure this out. I hate to send people to the dealer but on this particular issue they are probably the best equipped to handle this issue and will end up being your cheapest and most accurate approach at getting this fixed.

What type of scan tool is required and what needs to be done with the scan tool , I have a friend that has a very good one
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 9 months ago.

You would start by checking for codes in the navigation unit.

Just out of curiousity have you tried to activate the DVD player from the backseat console?

Would I do that using the scan tool or using the self diagnose mode? And I tried to press the power button but get no response, also there is a small yellow light that is on, meaning its getting power, just not connecting

Using the scan tool.
