Having trouble with 2007 F350 6liter codes are po107, po405, po472, help
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it?
Customer: Yes several times
JA: Are you fixing your F350 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am having it towed to a Ford dealer, just wanted an idea of what maybe wrong.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Good morning,

It's safe to assume that the truck doesn't start right?

It will start and idle. If I clear codes it will start to run then the codes come back.

It sounds like you have either a bad exhaust backpressure sensor or a bad EGR valve. Both of these will set the codes you are seeing and both will make the truck idle but not accelerate.

If the code sets immediately upon clearing them I would suspect that the backpressure sensor is the culprit.
