Customer Question

No high beams
JA: Have you checked the bulbs and fuses?
Customer: I'm sure it's the fuse. Trying to find which one it is
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 2008 escape
JA: Are you fixing your Escape yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Haven't tried anything yet but high beams both quit at the same time so I assume it's a fuse
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No. Just want to know what fuse

First let's check fuse #23 in the Smart Junction Box. The SJB is under the dash.

The SJB is located on the right-hand side of the center console, by the instrument panel. Remove the panel cover to access the fuse cover. Press the tabs on the top and bottom of the fuse cover to remove.
