Hello my name is ***** ***** the vehicle stalls, does it stall like the key is turned off, or does it slowly die and runs for a 1-3 seconds like being choked for fuel? Is there any smoke, if there is what color?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
acts like key turned off... may sputter a couple of times...If I unplug the ICP sensor it will start and run but with white smoke and raw fuel smell no RPMS shown on gauge then either

Is it just the RPM's that don't work or does the cluster go dead?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Everything else appears to be operating... when I unplug the ICP I do get the code for open ckt on that and the CEL comes on
but it clears as soon as I reconnect it
Expert:  Scott W. replied 1 year ago.

So it will not start with the ICP plugged in?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It will start but dies after 5-10 secs... ICP sensor has been replaced
Expert:  Scott W. replied 1 year ago.

Is it hard to restart right after the stall? Does it idle rough?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no runs smooth and will start right back up but won't run long

OK, I have seen a few PCM's cause a issue like this, usually tapping on the PCM will make the engine stall. Or it could be the main engine wire loom could be shorting where it contacts the intake manifold on the drivers side of the intake. If the loom is shorting they don't usually set any codes, since you smell raw fuel I suspect the wiring loom is the culprit. I have seen either the FICM wire loom short and also the main engine loom short.
