My 7.2 2002 f 250 has started periodically missing and sometimes dying what would cause this

i take it you meant 7.3 not 7.2 liter dsl turbo correct?

any check engine light on now on it ?

have you had it scanned and retrieved any fault codes ?

fuel filter changed ?

any leak on fuel filter housing ?

several reasons, , crank sensor,cam sensor , injector pump, vacuum leaks ,we have to narrow it down

Fuel filter changed crank sensor changed pump changed 14 mos ago when similar things no codes no leaks that I can see yes 7.2 no engine light it may go two or three days not acting up them all of sudden it does

what is the warranty on the pump ?where was it purchased ?

It should not go bad at 14 month , but from the symptom you describing & no codes & these were symptoms last time .
I say changed the pump again .
