How do you get the codes turn off so you can get it to pass emission test
Expert:  Kenny Z. replied 1 year ago.

What codes are stored?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
J1850PWM. C E OH O 2A it all so said no power train DTCs is presently stored in vehicle computer. No freeze frame data is presently stored in vehicle's computer. The reader is giving a yellow light on it
Expert:  Kenny Z. replied 1 year ago.

That information string is just the ID for the network and can be ignored. If there are no codes and no freeze frame data then more than likely the monitors have not completed. Most code readers will display what monitors are complete or not.

can go and get check emissions on it
Expert:  Kenny Z. replied 1 year ago.

Yes as long as there is no P1000 code. If it says no codes present then you should be good for emissions testing.

I had the battery check and it said good but need to charge the starter and the alternator was good too so I am at a lost.
