I'm losing antifreeze from the water tank cap
JA: What part of the car is the leak coming from? And are you sure it's water?
Customer: It's coming from the coolant tank from under the cap
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: Windstar 2001
JA: Are you fixing your Windstar yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes I am fixing it myself I've gone through all that water hoses check them I've also remove the thermostat thinking that it might be stuck on closed
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: The water in my coolant tank is always rust color and only seems to come out that way no matter how many times I change the water

Thank you, ***** ***** coolant pushes out of the overflow tank it is due to headgaskets. I would remove the spark plugs and inspect for a green tint on them. This would let you know the headgaskets are bad and will need to be replaced.
