just bought my first mustang,,1996 v-6,,needs new belt,,can not get tensioner arm to budge,,have tried all d i y i could find,,,no help
JA: Which belt is acting up? And when was it last changed?
Customer: only one belt

Hello I will help,

Do you have the arm exposed and can you turn the pulley bolt? What happens when you do? Which direction are you turning the bolt?

Are you on the tensioner down by the crank pulley or are you trying to move the idler up by the alternator?
