I have a 1984 Ford F250 battery tests good but won't turn

Customer Question

I have a 1984 Ford F250 battery tests good but won't turn over at all
JA: Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? And can you see if it's leaking or not?
Customer: Yes it tested good
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes we are trying to fix ourselves. We purchased new starter and the battery tested good. The lights go on but nothing
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: We jumped it and let it run for 1/2 hour and drove for a bit and then turned it off and wouldn't start

do you want me to tell you to put an alternator in it? apparently the way you and i troubleshoot vehicle problems are too different for me to help you. I will opt out and let someone else help you. good day.
