where does the engine coolant sensor locate on a 2008 ford expedition el?
JA: Which particular sensor are you asking about? And have any trouble codes been triggered?
Customer: low coolant level
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: replaced the thermostat, the sensor on the head

Hello I will help,

This engine uses a cylinder head temp sensor, the intake manifold has to be removed to get to it. as it is in the valley between the heads.

The CHT sensor sends information to the engine computer and the ECM (computer) sends the information VIA the communications link to the instrument cluster so it can be displayed.
