Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose) I prefer to work when others don't, I am here around lunch and after dinner till after midnight.

When this happens how long are these things off?

Does this effect the engine and transmission?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No the engine stays running

Remove the accessory delay relay under the dash. Jump a paper clip from pin 3 to 5 and attach a volt meter to this paper clip. Drive the vehicle and see if the concern is gone. If it still occurs, does the volt meter no longer show voltage on this wire when the electrical components drop out?
