JA: What year is your Freestyle?
Customer: 2005
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Drove it for 3 hrs n daughter left everything on lights music n charger on cuz of an accident on Hwy for an hr n now I tried to get a boost n no start
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: Everything is on, engine light, battery, oil
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?

Hello, just so I understand the battery died and now you can't get the vehicle to run? is this correct?

but let it sit for awhile n it started

If it sat for a while and started you have a battery cable issue. Heat will cause resistance in battery cables and this causes failure. To test you perform a voltage drop test on the battery cables if you have a multi meter. If you don't Replacing the battery cables isn't to expensive and is a good thing to do.

That explains why one time it wouldnt start but after it cools down it does start.
