I'm working on my 1977 f250 351/400m engine. Replacing carb.

Customer Question

I'm working on my 1977 f250 351/400m engine. Replacing carb. The engine was butchered over the years and I appear to be missing the egr vacuum control valve, (I'm replacing the egr valve), and also missing the vacuum delay valve on the distributor vacuum line. It ran without them. Are they critical parts and, if so, how would I find them? My local auto parts store hasn't been any help.

They're not critical unless your state has emmisions testing. The egr valve can be found HERE and the distibutor one here
