my engine temp spiked. i turned off AC then and turn on heater to dump heat. temp started to drop right away. things seem ok. but are they?
JA: Have you checked the coolant level? Has there been any leaking from the hoses?
Customer: i could see wetness under the coolant reservoir. level was ok.
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 2007 ford edge awd
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: it just happened and, no,if reapirs are required i'll have it done. not sure of the urgency?

Hi im kevin it sounds very much like your thermostat is sticking closed.stopping the raciator from cooling system.this will need to be replaced aooner rather than later to prevent overheating
