My 2012 f350 engine shut down while I was driving. I let it

Customer Question

Hello. My 2012 f350 engine shut down while I was driving. I let it cool down. Still wouldn't start. Then I disconnected the batteries to allow it to reset. Now I hear a click of the starter but that is all I get
JA: Does the engine turn over? How old is the battery?
Customer: It is a Diesel engine. 63k miles
JA: What is the model of your '12 Ford?
Customer: Batteries are very new
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: F350 super duty dusky diesel
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Had been serviced 2000 miles ago. Is in great shape
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Ford Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
