2002 ford windstar - high humidity conditions, engine sputters, quits, instrument cluster seems to be resetting. Trip meter zeros. cant start - no juice anywhere.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
seems like moisture has gotten to the ecu or pcu and shorts something out then goes to reset.

Hello, I would agree with what you think It is known for moisture to get inside the PCM and can cause things to fail when high moisture levels are present.

Expert:  James replied 1 year ago.

I would disconnect the PCM connector and look for signs of moisture in the connector.
