No power on the violet/gray wire?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There are two wires going into the fan motor an red and a black. It is an aftermarket fan. They both have power.
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

Follow those wires to the opposite end where they go into the control module. There will be a violet/gray wire there also. Check that for voltage with the a/c on and engine running.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the violet wire has power as it go into the module.

OK. What is the voltage between the black and the red wires at the motor?

It seems to be about 10 volts. It is hard to see.

And the fans are not running?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
they are not running
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

Whats your voltage between the red wire at one of the fan motors and battery ground?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
How would I measure that?
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

How did you measure it at the fan motor?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not sure if I did it right. Can you please walk me though it
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

Touch your red meter lead to the red wire at the fan motor.
While keeping that connected touch your black meter lead to the negative terminal on the battery. Look at the voltage displayed on the meter.
