Are you getting static on the FM band, or just low volume?

Does the radio scan to all the stations in your area or does it continuously search?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no static,and does not search.

Thank you. Since you can tune to all the stations on FM and AM, and the sound quality is good on CD and AM, but not FM, the problem is in the radio itself. It cannot be the amplifier or the antenna as both AM and FM use the antenna to receive the station broadcast and since it tunes in the FM stations, that takes the antenna out. The problem is internal in the radio itself.
