Customer Question

My 2002 F150 wont start. Was driving and it started "choking " and died. Put it in neutral and it started back twice but died. Coasted to a stop. Now it cranks but won't start.

Hello, and thanks for choosing just answer. Sounds like your fuel pump has failed and will need to be replaced. To verify this you can test fuel pressure.

How do I do that

To test fuel pressure the correct way is with a fuel pressure tester. Another option on the passenger side fuel rail is a test port. You can push the valve down and see if gas comes out. If it doesn't you don't have any fuel pressure.
