Hello, im not sure what type of ford this is, year, make, engine size. But when the advance trac light comes on , it is indicating a fault with the system and storing a diagnostic trouble code. You would need to have the antilock brake system checked for codes using a scan tool first. This way you know what code(s) are being set. This will give you an idea of what to check, a wheel speed sensor, a brake pressure sensor, etc. Once you know what codes are stored I can tell you more of what area to check or test
