Ford F 150 Lariat: I just installed 2-10 inch phenix gold subwoofers

Customer Question

I just installed 2-10 inch phenix gold subwoofers with the Phenix Gold RX 1100 series amp pushing them, the amp has a switch that controls the amount of bass applied. When I turn the dial all the way up my headlights flicker with the bass drop. My question is before I spend more money what do I need to do to get my new audio to work to my satisfaction.

The headlamps flicker due to a large voltage drop. If you add a capacitor you can correct the issue that you are having. Usually 1-1.5fared capacitor is more then enough to correct your concern.
